Shot in 1982 on the Mississippi Queen River Boat, Part re-enacted documentary/part song-laden sing-along, this is a comprehensive look at the life and career of Conway Twitty, growing up on the Missisippi River. Conway signs signature songs with special guest stars Jerry Lee Lewis, Charlie Pride, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynne, Barbara Mandrell and Dick Clark, and of course Conway himself. If you love Conway, you will treasure this DVD. However, it was a huge disappointment to find that Barbara Mandrell is not on this DVD at all! The box itself says she is, so if you are buying it because you are a Mandrell fan, don't bother. This is not the fault of CD Universe because her name is listed on the box. It's one thing to listen to Conway Twitty and a totally different experience to listen and watch. This DVD highlights Conway's life, friends, values and fantastic music. A must have for his fans!
